ImageJ ImageJ

driver version 1.3.5

The integration of the ProgRes® camera control in ImageJ owing to a new driver affords an easy image capture with ProgRes® microscope cameras. That grants a simplification of image analysis and processing for users of the ImageJ software.

ImageJ is a public domain Java image processing program inspired by NIH Image for the Macintosh. It runs, either as an online applet or as a downloadable application, on any computer with a Java 1.4 or later virtual machine. Downloadable distributions are available for Windows, Mac OS, Mac OS X and Linux.

There are a lot of increments for several image processing applications.
Besides the possibility to set the exposure time manually or automatically the resolution and color reproduction could be selected. Trigger and cooling of the ProgRes® cameras could be activated also if the cameras are equipped accordingly.

ProgRes_Cam is ImageJ plug-in written in Java for the control of all ProgRes® cameras and for capturing single images as well as live image-streams. These will be displayed in true ImageJ image windows and allows the user to apply some methods of the ImageJ tool bar.

The driver supports our Firewire and USB cameras on WIN and MAC operating systems.
The Image-J driver has been tested with the ImageJ-Software 1.42q successfully. But the driver doesn’t work yet with ProgRes® C10plus/C3.

This driver is available for download for all registered end-users.
