The ProgRes® microscope camera in fluorescence applications
In order to use a digital
microscope camera in Genetics applications, such a
camera needs to be suitable for all the different fluorescence methods, e.g. FISH for chromosome analysis. The fast fading off of fluorescence dyes requires light sensitive
microscope cameras with a high frame rate in the live image. The
monochrome cameras of the ProgRes® range additionally offer 8-fold analogue gain for reduction of exposure times as well as a dynamic range of 14 bit. The
ProgRes® CapturePro Software included in the scope of delivery provides a special fluorescence mode for optimization of image capture using different filters. The software conveniently guides you to the perfect multi-fluorescence images!
