The Imaging Modules 1.4Ccool provide images with 1,4 MPixel resolution and each pixel is digitized with 14 Bit. The progressive scan CCD color sensor offers high sensitivity and large dynamic range. This is archived also because of the excellent electronics including analog gain. The result is a wide scope of exposure in your application.
Cooling and sensor capsule
In the Imaging Modules 1.4Ccool the CCD sensor is surrounded by a hermetically sealed capsule, which is nitrogen flushed. The cooling of the sensor is done by a peltier element and a heat sink. The exposure time of the Imaging Modules 1.4Ccool can be up to 5 Minutes and low-noise images are provided.
