High light sensitivity and fast live image
The Imaging Module 1.4M generate monochrome digital images in 1,4MPixel resolution and a bit depths of 12 bit. As sensor, a monochrome progressive scan CCD sensor is used in 2/3 inch format. Excellent electronics with analogue gain supports the high sensitivity and allow for a wide dynamic range. This results in a wide scope for exposure. The Imaging Module consist of two separate boards, which are connected to each other via flat-ribbon cable. This makes it possible to arrange components which produce heat far away from the sensor, which improves images quality.


Easy to integrate
The two-board-solution can be integrated into system solutions very flexible, beneficial when space is limited. The optical adaption is done via C-Mount. The integrated IR-cut-off filter (optionally: clear glas) protects the sensor from dust. The mounting via C-Mount-mechanics is easy and precise.

Easy communication
The modules are connected to the computer via the powerful industrial standard interface IEEE1394a Firewire. Trigger input and output possibilities ensure a fast communication with other system components.

Software Development Kit
Imaging Module are integrated into application software by using a Software Development Kit with standard C-Interface. An ActiveX Control is included in the SDK as well as a sample program in source code. The SDK is available free of charge and it give full control over camera and data.
