Imaging Module 1.4Mcool generate monochrome images with 1.4MPixel resolution and a bit depth of 14Bit. As sensor, a monochrome progressive-scan CCD sensor in 2/3 inch format is used. Excellent electronics with analogue gain supports the high light sensitivity and provide a wide dynamic range. The Imaging Modules consist of two separate board, which are connected via a flat-ribbon cable. This allows to position heat generating components far away from the sensor which is very positive for the image quality.


Cooling and sensor capsule
The cooling of the sensor is done by a peltier element, which transfers the heat to a heat sink. The CCD sensor itself is surrounded by a hermetically sealed capsule, which is nitrogen flushed. This monochrome camera can expose up to 5 minutes and offers very low-noise images.

Easy to integrate
The two-baord-solution is very flexible to integrate. The optical interface is C-Mount, where the IR-cut-off filter (optionally: clear glas) is integrated and which seals the hermetical capsule. The mounting via the C-Mount-mechanics is easy and precise.

Easy communication
The powerful industrial standard interface IEEE1394a Firewire and Trigger connections guarantee a fast communication with computer and other system components.

Software Development Kit
The Imaging Module are integrated into application software by using a free-of-charge Software Development Kit. In the SDK there is a standard C-interface, a comprehensive sample program in source code and an ActiveX Control included. So you have full access to camera and data.
