New ProgRes® CapturePro 2.6 software available

We are pleased to inform you that our NEW ProgRes® Capture Pro Software 2.6 (PC and MAC) has been released.
The new version ProgRes® CapturePro 2.6 has the convenient features and the proven reliability ProgRes® CapturePro is known for.

To make the operation of your ProgRes® microscopy camera more convenient, the following new features have been added in the version ProgRes® CapturePro 2.6 (PC version).

Annotations
Insert annotations to reference items in the microscopical image. You can insert and edit text annotations and pointers. Annotations are part of the overlay, and can be edited in the same way.
Selections
The “Selection“-tool is now available from the icon bar, and enables a more easy selection of the overlay elements.
Focusing tool
The focusing tool has been improved. A drag indicator helps you to find the optimum focus.
Register tab “Measure“
The register tab “Measure“ is more clearly structured. You can also now insert calibration names with up to 37 characters.
Video frame rate
In the register tab “Timelapse“, you can now select the video frame rate for the replay of video streaming sequences.
Shading reference files
You can create and save more than one shading reference file per camera, and select them directly in the status bar.
Status bar
The status bar has been modified. It displays important image information, and enables access to the following functions:
- Selection of the preference file
- Selection of the camera
- Selection of shading reference files

Important note:
In case that you have operated a preceding version of ProgRes® CapturePro on your computer before, you can easily integrate the data (preference files, scanner calibrations, measurement calibration data, shading reference files) into the new version. Simply follow the advice in the dialog that appears when the software is started.

The new ProgRes® CapturePro 2.6 supports all ProgRes® camera systems.
