The main task in pathology is the evaluation and assessment of histological tissues for examination of abnormal tissue changes under use of light microscopy, founded on special coloring techniques.

True color reproduction as well as reproducibility of colors are the basis for the use of ProgRes® microscope cameras also in histology, hematology and cytology. Already in the live image, the colors are exactly displayed, hence the pathologist does not waste any time for adjustment of colors for an exact making of diagnosis.
